Poll: Which new Pokemon from the movie Scarlet & Violet is your favourite?

We’re sure no one has asked you to compare an olive, a mouse, and a pig before. Can? I hope not. Well, that’s what we want to do today.

With the latest Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, we’ve not only got a November release date, but we’ve also seen some brand-new ‘mons’ along with the three starter Pokémon! Well, hats off to Ash Ketchum on Game Freak and The Pokémon Company, because from what we’ve seen, Generation 9’s roster is going to be pretty eclectic and pretty cool.

This new trailer brought us three new regular pocket monsters along with the Legendaries from the tournament. If you’re looking for the full stats and a Pokédex-style rundown, check out our ongoing list of all the new Pokémon we’ve seen in the game so far – here we just go to feel and instinct.

So let’s get to know them again!

Pawmi

Well, here’s what’s likely to be the generation’s “Pikachu clone.” Every time we wonder if we need another electric mouse, someone comes along and makes us go “Ooooo!” Just look at her! Those warm little eyes radiate happiness. And we can’t resist that little tuft of fur on her head – we just want to get in there and blow it up a bit!

If we will be truly Picky, something different than electric cheek bags can be a nice touch.

to see you

Ah, the social media star. Lechonk might have one of the best Pokémon names ever, and we can’t resist a good pun here. We can go on about Lechunk for a while here – sad eyes, brown marks on her face, pink snout and toes, very small tail.

Pig Pokémon have often struggled with their evolutionary streaks over the years, so we hope that Lechonk will get the perfect evolution that he so desperately deserves, or else we’d never have our evolution back.

Pokémon food can be hits and misses a bit, but Smoliv is definitely on the sweeter side. His jagged mouth, blank eyes, and wobbly posture make him look very anxious – and we’ll do everything we can to protect him. Please don’t try to get rid of it, whatever you do.

But we want to see the little girl with a smile. Don’t tell us that’s their only expression, Game Freak, we’ll worry about it until we get the game! Even if they could go a week without eating or drinking, we still wouldn’t worry!

That’s a pretty solid show after the Grass/Fire/Water trio, which made a first impression in February.

Pokémon are getting more careful with the details about the Scarlet and Violet legends, but let’s go ahead and meet them too, shall we?

Croydon and Meridon

Definitely two of the most intriguing Legendary designs we’ve seen for a while, with gorgeous color palettes. All we have to do is look, and first impressions are absolutely fantastic.

Koraidon, left, has a beautiful prehistoric bird/lizard design. Is that an arrogant smile on her face too? Well, with columns like this, we’d probably feel arrogant, too. The color combination is also suitable – white and black on the body and tail, combined with blue and pink on the feathers – because it breaks the audacity of red.

Myradon is much more unnatural – in a good way! Does this energy or electricity pass through it? Her purple “skin” looks metallic. it’s a floating. There’s a lot of unusual stuff going on here that’s really fun – like someone massaging Lunala with Zekrom and adding some robot parts. Lazy eyes are just a layer of icing on the cake, and we love the different shades of purple and the splashes of glowing yellow on her body.

So, with everything we know about these new Pokemon, and a few days in our belt, we’ve all had some time to think, concoct, obsess, and think about these new little (and big) creatures. Were Wolu and Morbiko deposed by Lechonk and Bumi? Will Croydon and Meridon beat Zakian and Zamazinta? And – what are we? truly Want to know – who is your pick from the pack for the best Scarlet and Violet Pokemon so far?

Vote in the polls below to let us know, then find your picks in the comments! We know it’s tough, but we believe in you – you get to choose!
