The latest PlayStation State of Play has arrived and it doesn’t disappoint. From the new look and release window of Final Fantasy 16 to the much-anticipated reveal of Resident Evil 4 Remake to Stray’s release date, there’s been a wide range of games on offer at this show.

Final Fantasy 16 will be officially released in Summer 2023
The latest Final Fantasy 16 trailer has finally arrived and it’s packed full of gameplay and some of our favorite summons (Eikons in FF16) from Final Fantasy history, including Phoenix, Titan, Garuda, Ramuh, Shiva, Odin, Bahamut and Ifrit.
Final Fantasy 16 protagonist Clive Rosfield also appeared in this “Dominance” trailer, showing how he and his team will face the many enemies that will undoubtedly get in your way in the game’s story.
It also revealed that Final Fantasy 16 will release on PS5 in the summer of 2023. Currently, the game can be played from start to finish and the team is using all this time to improve the game as best they can.
Resident Evil 4 Remake Officially Announced
Resident Evil 4 Remake is officially on its way and will be released on March 24, 2023. Capcom is looking to reimagine “the game’s story while keeping the core of its direction, updating the graphics and bringing the controls to a modern level.”
PSVR2 owners will also be able to look forward to some sort of VR content, though no further details have been provided.
Resident Evil Village gets the VR treatment
Resident Evil Village will soon allow players to visit its world in a whole new way as it will be made available for PlayStation VR 2. And yes, it will be the full campaign, which means you will have to experience it [redacted] in VR.
VR will also allow players to protect by actually raising their arms and will give them the option to use different weapons in each hand for more fighting opportunities.
Street Fighter 6’s first gameplay trailer has been shown alongside the 2023 release window
Street Fighter 6 is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation in 2023 (it’s also coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC). Although this may be a wait for some time, Capcom has provided fans with an in-depth look at the gameplay of the latest entry in the legendary fighting franchise.
Street Fighter 6 is built on Capcom’s RE engine – the same engine used in Resident Evil 7 and Village – and will allow for improved graphics along with a more elegant experience filled with “explosive splashes of paint and amazing graffiti handling.”
While we wait for more news, Street Fighter fans will be happy to know that Ryu, Chun-Li, Luke, and newcomer Jamie have all already made the list.
Horizon Call of the Mountain will let you experience the horizon in a whole new way
The latest State of Play release has given us an extended look at the gameplay of Horizon Call of the Mountain, which is coming exclusively to PSVR2.
In this new story set in the first two worlds, players will become a former Shadow Carja warrior named Ryas who is looking to redeem himself by “investigating a dangerous new threat to Sundom. He excels in climbing and shooting (which are great for virtual reality) and will have to do With things like “Climb Dangerous Mountains” and “Remove powerful machines like Thunderjaw.”
Although players will not see this world through Aloy’s eyes, they will encounter them and other familiar and new faces along the journey.
