A social media star who looks like Princess Diana has said she’s getting yelled at in the street – and now she’s making money refashioning the late royals’ clothes.

The 20-year-old blonde cut her locks and fully embraced Princess Di’s patronage, and followers said it was the spitting image of the Princess of Wales.

The glamorous girl wears a black blouse in one of the photos that recreates an interview Diana gave to BBC correspondent Martin Bashir in 1995.

Elsewhere, she wears a wedding dress and looks oddly like the late Princess on her special day with Princes Charles.

Rose said she was pushed to change her appearance by followers who said she looked a lot like the late Queen.

“It gave me the idea to recreate her hair,” she said. “When I styled my hair, I saw a bit of what people meant.”

“I drew inspiration from Princess Diana’s ’80s outfits, but I always give her a special ’70s touch.”

She now spends her time sharing makeup and hair tips for fans obsessed with her royal look.

She said, “On TikTok and Instagram, I hear I look like Diana a few times every day.

“I’ve had it about four times in public so far. When I was shooting for my Diana book, there was a group of people yelling at me for Diana.

“I thought that was kind of funny because that means I did my hair and outfit very well.”

But the young woman says she doesn’t think she looks much like the late royal when she looks in the mirror.

“I think because I’m used to my face and people on the Internet aren’t,” she said.

Princess de Doppelanger also said that she receives abuse from followers who do not approve of her appearance.

She admitted that the comments were hurtful but had fun recreating the old look that she says is her “thing”.

Rose added, “No one can replace her. Not me, and no one.”

“I’ve been doing it for years. Diana was the one who blew the most.”

She also creates content inspired by other stars such as Olivia Newton-John, Karen Carpenter, Diana Ross and Farrah Fawcett.

Rose also admits that she thinks the comparison to Diana is “somewhat irrelevant”.

“When I’m for example doing a video about something that has nothing to do with Diana, the comments are still full of ‘Oh my God, you look so much like Diana,'” she said.

“I’m really not complaining because I’m so grateful for everything I have but sometimes I wish people would focus on what I have to say rather than just focusing on the similarity to Diana they see.”

The 20-year-old said it could take hours for them to look together.

Rose said, “It takes a long time! Hair is the most important thing, if you want it to be perfect it can take over an hour.”

“Makeup is usually done within 15 minutes.

“I always buy my clothes second hand, from vintage and thrift stores but also a lot online like Etsy and Depop.

“There are also a few vintage-inspired shops that do really well creating original pieces.

“Getting your clothes secondhand is cheaper than going to fast fashion stores, and the added bonus is that these clothes last longer, too.

“The quality of the clothes at that time was much better!”

The young woman said she suffers from chronic Lyme disease, which causes fatigue, aches and pains and loss of energy.

She added, “It’s definitely not easy. My life is far from what it seems on social media.

“Even though I have improved a lot in the last year, I still spend a good amount of my days in bed.

“I would say the hardest thing still is that people underestimate him so much!

“Part of it is because I don’t like my friends and followers seeing this disease, so I guess it’s about me too, but I hope people are aware of how this affects my life every single day.

“When I’m not filming, I always rest and get sick. That’s the reality of living with a chronic illness I guess.”
